Who am I?
I've been a photographer at heart for many years, but after my father passed away and left me his camera and equipment, my dream of starting my own business quickly became a reality. My dad was a lifetime entrepreneur who loved photography himself, and only months before his passing, we were tossing around the idea of starting a business together. So it just seemed fitting that I should open a business in photography in his honour.
I'm blessed to say that I'm a stay-at-home mom of two little ones under three and wife to a wonderful, supportive husband. The ability to work from home and build my own schedule around the people who need me the most makes me more happy than words can express.
I love photography because I love the challenge of capturing emotions and feelings. A picture is only a picture unless I capture the true essence of the people behind my lens. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease so that I can show you memories that you never expected to see -so that you can see yourself, your children, and your families in a way that pleasantly surprises you. When you look back on your photos from a session with me, you will see images that represent who you are and ones that I know will make you smile.
“It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like; it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are.”
